hyds in Municipalia-Innocamping

Last week hyds was present at the Municipal fair held in Lleida together with the Innocàmping meeting. For three days, people from the municipal world were able to see first hand our Argos City service for the proactive management of weather emergencies. People interested in the Argos Site, a more appropriate service for the campsites present at the fair, also came to our stand. All in all, it was a great opportunity to speak directly with potential users of our services.

 

Visit to IMIDA and 112 in Murcia

hyds, as part of the CLIMALERT project, visited last Friday, October 15, 2021, the IMIDA (Murcian Institute for Agri-Food Research and Development) and the 112-DGSCE (General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies) in Murcia.
The aim of the visit was to understand in depth the needs of these two project partners that the CLIMALERT platform must cover. In addition to the technical meetings, hyds was able to witness the day-to-day running of the two institutions.

Yesterday, September 30, the initial meeting for the creation of the CLIMALERT platform took place in Barcelona. CLIMALERT is a European project focused on droughts, forest fires and floods in the SUDOE region (Portugal, Spain, and part of France). hyds was commissioned to develop a platform for managing these risks based on the scientific results of the project.

HYDS presents Argos Flow at XII Spanish Dams Conference – SPANCOLD 2021

hyds has participated in the XII Spanish Dams Conference – SPANCOLD 2021, held in Gran Canaria from September 27 to October 2. hyds has presented its Argos Flow service developed together with CRAHI-UPC for the Catalan Water Agency (ACA). Argos Flow is a probabilistic flow forecasting service for reservoir management that has been implemented in a large part of the reservoirs in the internal basins of Catalonia.

Argos City reaches one million inhabitants

With the recent implementation in Badalona, ​​the goal of 1 million inhabitants covered by Argos City has been reached!!

Argos City currently serves 36 municipalities to anticipate the impact of weather emergencies (floods, heat and cold waves, wind, snowfall, air pollution, etc.) and help with their management.
